Who we are
A publication is a chain of small decisions. We own the whole chain, so nothing is anybody else's problem.
Every title moves from a sample assessment to fixed style decisions, a named project manager and a schedule agreed in writing before work starts. Editors who came out of classrooms and publishing houses do the reading; production specialists set the pages; a separate pair of eyes signs off the printer files.
We work to scholarly standards rather than around them - accessibility built in from the outset, integrity screening treated as part of production, and structured content that survives the second edition and the third reprint.
Service index
Eight disciplines · one contract- 01Editorial servicesCopyediting that goes past error correction, final proofreading, and digital-content editing for sites and journals - onshore or offshore, always to your house style.
- 02Production & compositionTypesetting in InDesign, LaTeX and Word, technical editing for complex content, scientific graphics redrawn and relabelled, and conversion across PDF, XML and HTML.
- 03Academic book project managementTurnkey oversight from pre-production to final print files: multi-author coordination, manufacturing documentation, pagination, and quality control of printer files.
- 04Journal productionArticle workflows from acceptance to publication, with peer-review management, expert reviewer matching and declaration checks handled inside the same queue.
- 05Research integrityScreening for peer-review manipulation and review rings, text-overlap analysis, and citation-manipulation detection - reported so an editor can act on it.
- 06IndexingBack-of-the-book, embedded and subject-specialist indexing for monographs, textbooks and reference works, with automated passes where volume demands them.
- 07Digital transformationXML-first publishing: custom DTDs and schemas, conversion of legacy files, and training so your own team can run the workflow afterwards.

Notes from the workflow
All notesThe Accessibility Act arrives in your backlist
Remediation is cheapest as a production step and most expensive as a legal one. A triage order for older lists, and what a conformance record has to contain.
Citation rings are a production problem
Why screening belongs in the workflow beside copyediting, not in a separate ethics inbox that only opens after publication.
XML-first pays for itself by the third reprint
Structured content costs more once and less every time after. The arithmetic, worked through for a revised professional reference title.
